It has around 145 km’s of coastline and a vast and unusual variety of seabirds and wildlife. King Island is situated on the northern tip of Tasmania. The island utilises renewable hydro energy and doesn’t rely on Victoria and Tasmania for its energy supply. Renewable power; namely wind and solar are being used on the island with diesel generators.
