Plus, you can carry it with you, giving you ample time to prepare to go to work or school or running errands.

What You Need

The ingredients that you will need for a basic healthy breakfast drink are yoghurt, preferably one that contains live cultures and acidophilus, as well as your favorite fruit. You could try banana or strawberry, and you could also use blueberry as well. Another ingredient that you will need is your favourite juice. This could be apple juice or orange juice, or for that matter whatever you like. The important thing is that the juice should not contain any added sugars or preservatives.

To give your healthy drink an added kick, you could add in a drop of vanilla or two. This will also lend a very aromatic flavour to your healthy drink. In addition you will require a powdered protein.

Aside from this, you will also need a mixer or a blender and a container for the health drink, preferably a 250-400ml glass or plastic container with a lid.

What to Do

The first thing that you have to do is wash the fruit. Once washed, (peel if required) slice them up into small pieces to make it easier to mix in the blender with the other ingredients.

With the fruits cut into smaller pieces, you can then place them in the blender and add in a scoop of powdered protein. After this, you can then add in the yoghurt as well as your favourite juice the before turning on the machine. Mix thoroughly until very smooth before pouring the drink into the container.

One thing that you have to remember though if you are going to make a health drink; choose fruits that you think will go well together. Another thing that you have to take into consideration is that your health drink should not contain ingredients with preservatives and dyes. After all, this will serve as your breakfast on the go, and a delicious breakfast health drink is sure to boost not only your energy but your mood as well.
