To Make this recipe go to your local Chinese BBQ shop and purchase 1 of the ducks in the window, you can also have them remove the bones and chop the meat for you, usually at no extra cost. If you have already found your way to one of the BBQ shop there is generally a grocer close by, so here is the recipe for BBQ Duck spring rolls!

  • 1pkt Spring roll pastry
  • 1 BBQ Duck meat chopped
  • 100g Vermicelli noodles - soften and strained in hot water
  • 100g carrot juillenne
  • 1pht Vietnamese mint leaves picked
  • 1bunch coriander (washed and leaves picked)
  • 2T Hoi sin sauce
  • 20g Red chili chopped finely
  • ½ bunch spring onions finely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 20ml sesame oil
  1. cook carrot in sesame oil lightly
  2. mix all ingredients together except for the egg and the spring roll sheets
  3. place 40g mixture at the bottom middle of the spring roll pastry
  4. brush top of wrapper with egg
  5. roll half way, fold edges in like an envelope
  6. fry in deep fryer at 180 degrees, serve with some light soy or hoi sin sauce
